DonBelle’s first primetime teleserye ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ to premiere on October

This generation’s powerhouse loveteam Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano or DonBelle are heading to primetime block via the series Can’t Buy Me Love, available for streaming on Netflix on October 13, three days ahead of free TV airing.

ABS-CBN released the full trailer for the show this week, much to the delight of DonBelle fans worldwide. Almost immediately upon its release, discussions surrounding the pair’s new show surged to the top trending topics on Twitter.

The preview introduces online seller Bingo who’s struggling to make ends meet (Donny Pangilinan) and rebellious girl Caroline who appears to be the black sheep of her wealthy Chinese family  (Belle Mariano). The two fatefully meet when Bingo saves Caroline from drowning after a foiled yacht abduction. As Caroline awakens from the ordeal, she mistakes Bingo as her kidnapper.

Can’t Buy Me Love is directed by Mae Cruz Alviar (2 Good 2 Be True, Four Sisters Before the Wedding, Dolce Amore). The upcoming series also stars Nova Villa, Agot Isidro, Ruffa Gutierrez, Maris Racal, Kaila Estrada, Albie Casiño, Enzo Pineda, Darren Espanto, and Rowell Santiago. The latest DonBelle project will also air on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Jeepney TV, TFC, A2Z, and TV5 starting October 16.
