Alden Richards and Julia Montes show acting prowess in 'Five Breakups and a Romance' teaser

Alden Richards and Julia Montes dropped the official poster for their new movie, Five Breakups and a Romance. The two also previously shared an intense confrontation scene from the movie on their respective Instagram accounts. 

Five Breakups and a Romance is written and directed by Irene Emma Villamor (Meet Me in St. Gallen, Camp Sawi), under Cornerstone Studios, GMA Pictures and MYRIAD Corporation. Alden plays happy-go-lucky Lance Sandoval opposite Julia Montes who plays the career-driven Justine. 

In the scenedrop, Justine confronts Lance on having "just f— that woman".  The clip quickly went viral upon publishing and has already garnered 7 million views as of this writing. The teaser came at the heels of Director Antonette Jadaone's sneak peek of Alden and Julia's hot kissing scene in the movie. Julia’s camp has shared that the audience will see a “different” Julia in this movie. Where the actress used to be averse to doing kissing scenes, the movie will see Julia not only do such scenes but so much more. Alden also expressed that he had a good feeling about working with the actress saying, “it feels like I can be my raw self [with Julia.]”

Five Breakups and a Romance first made headlines in April of this year. The movie marks Julia’s comeback to the big screen since 2013’s A Moment in Time with Coco Martin. This is also Alden's first movie after Hello, Love, Goodbye in 2019 co-starring Kathryn Bernardo.
