GENTLE MONSTER Overwatch 2 TOKKI
To celebrate the release of the Overwatch 2: Invasion video game series, South Korean brand Gentle Monster launched its fashionable eyewear line Gentle Tokki.
Gentle Tokki is inspired by D.Va’s transportation robot as seen in Overwatch 2. The D.VA figure is also detachable so gamers can freely use the glasses as they are. Its soft case and visual elements capture TOKKI’s mechanical structure. It lets gamers experience wearing virtual objects, presenting a “unique experience that blurs the line between the real world and the gaming world.”
The limited-edition Gentle Tokki cannot be purchased. Instead, interested gamers have to participate in the Overwatch 2: Invasion Instagram filter challenge. Participants have until August 31 to tag the official accounts of Gentle Monster and Overwatch on their Instagram posts and reel entries.
Winners will receive the special edition package that contains the Gentle Tokki eyewear, boxed in custom Overwatch casing. Inside the box are redemption codes gamers can also use to unlock limited-edition Gentle Tokki D.Va in-game skins and other items they can wear as they go on missions.
